Opened in 1991, Youth Off The Streets (YOTS) works with chronically homeless and drug-addicted young people, providing support as they work to turn their lives around and overcome immense trauma such as neglect, and physical, psychological and emotional abuse.

Youth Off The Streets and the Sony Foundation Australia have joined forces to tackle the issue of drug education via a nationwide competition ‘GetReel’. Young people across the nation are asked to design TV advertisements targeting youth drug use. GetReel encourages young people to explore the issues surrounding youth drug use and design health messages that other young people can relate to, empowering them to make decisions about their own drug education and that of their peers.
